Michelle Glennon is a Registered Interior Designer, mom of 3, and Illinois transplant from Texas.
An award-winning interior designer, Michelle strives to design unique interiors that will have a positive impact on her clients’ lives. With more than fifteen years of extensive experience, she possesses an innate desire to create and design interiors that exceed clients’ expectations. With an eye for quality, a superior sense of style, and a client-centered approach to business, Michelle Glennon has proven herself as an innovative designer. She offers a balance of creativity, collaboration and forward thinking with a structured, organized and detailed mentality; enabling her to deliver focused development, follow through and total completion to each aspect of the design.
Michelle’s ability to develop client relationships based on respect, trust, and confidence has been the key to her success as a designer. Skilled at creating beautiful designs under a variety of budgets, styles, timeframes, and requirements, Michelle guides her clients through every phase of the design process. She remains committed to cultivating valued relationships and helping clients reach the best version of their overall vision.
In her previous role as an Interior Designer with Slovack-Bass in Houston, Texas, Michelle led large-scale residential projects. She tackled her first project as the lead designer, managing the complete remodel of an 18,000 sq. ft. home. Next, she oversaw complete design development for three custom homes within a private family complex, personalizing each home while maintaining continuity throughout the entire property. She coordinated architectural details, designed and specified custom construction elements, and created and implemented the full interior concept
Michelle moved to Chicago in September 2013, where she embraced her entrepreneurial spirit, founding Michelle Glennon Interior Design, Inc. While juggling three pregnancies and raising her young family with her husband, Michelle has grown her business, began building her design team and continues to grow. Working in collaboration with architects and builders to execute her vision, she takes each project very personally. Michelle holds a degree in Interior Design, is nationally recognized as a NCIDQ Certificate Holder and is a Registered Interior Designer within the State of Illinois.
As mom of 3, Michelle spends her spare time playing, cuddling and gardening with her kids and husband. Michelle’s husband, an avid traveler, is constantly coming up with the next vacation, so Michelle is always looking for inspiration and unique products across the globe for her next project.
